Open Source Program
Build, test and ship your open-source project on genuine Apple Silicon. Eligible projects get 25% off every plan and add-on, for as long as the project stays eligible, in exchange for a credit and a link back to MyRemoteMac.
−25%
on every plan and add-on, monthly or annual
e.g. Mac mini M4 from $85 → $63.75/mo · M6 from $149 → $111.75/mo
Why we do it
Our own stack runs on open-source software every day. This program is how we give some of it back.
Compile, sign, notarize and test on real macOS, Xcode, Homebrew formulas, Swift packages, Electron apps. Dedicated 1:1 machines, full root, no virtualization.
Mac mini M4, M4 Pro and the new Mac mini M6, keep your project's macOS and ARM64 builds current without buying hardware.
Reliable macOS CI is the hardest part of shipping cross-platform software. We'd rather maintainers spend their time on code than on hardware.
What you get
Nothing is stripped down: it is the standard MyRemoteMac offer with 25% removed from the price.
Every Mac mini M4, M4 Pro and M6 configuration, billed monthly or annually (annual keeps its one month free).
Network upgrades (5 Gbps on M4, 2.5 Gbps on M6) and the Time Machine backup disk.
The discount stays on your account while the project meets the criteria; we review eligibility once a year.
One build runner or a small farm, we look at each project's needs case by case.
What we ask in return
This is the one condition of the program, and it is mandatory for the discount to remain active.
A short sentence with a link to https://myremotemac.com, in the repository README (or CONTRIBUTING / sponsors section) and on the project's website if it has one. Keep it for as long as the discount applies.
